1. When you are setting up a Phone Call Interview with a guest you will need to also get a Pin Number.
a. If you use the 'Calendar' Option to set a Phone Call for a future date the CallCast app will assign a Pin Number for you.
b. If you want to start a call immediately and are not using the 'Calendar' Option you will need to tap the 'GET PIN' button before you make your call. The CallCast app will setup a Pin for you to use. Call your CallCast phone number and enter the Pin and you call recording will start right away!
2. Why do you need a Pin? We only start recording a call when a user has a Pin. Pins are set to work only within a specific time and date that you have set. Trying to call your number and entering a pin outside of the time and date that you sent will make it so that someone can't use your phone number and recording without you having specified for it to work. This protects you from people calling and recording with your CallCast number.
3. It is simple to setup a Pin for your call. Either use the Calendar and setup a time and date for a call and the CallCast app will auto-generate a pin for you to use. Or you can start a call instantly by tapping the 'GET PIN' option and then placing a phone call to your CallCast number - enter your Pin and the call will start.
4. Pin Expiration: you must use the pin at the exact time of call or within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. After this window your Pin will expire and you will need to set a new Pin.
